This is a mailing List for Journalists/those in the News Media and is a RECEIVE ONLY email list and contains details of the IAM News Releases and Fact Sheets as and when they are issued.

The emails distributed will include the words of the News Release/Fact Sheet in the body of the email in plain ASCII text (ready for you to cut and paste into whatever application you wish).

If you want to add the News Release to your "Whitelist" (i.e. your software won't mark it as spam), then the From: address is always news-bounces@lists.iam.org.uk with the Reply to: address as news-owner@lists.iam.org.uk

Last of all, this list would be expected to receive no more than about 4 or 5 emails a month so it is not a high volume list.

Subscribing to News

Subscribe to News by filling out the following form.

    You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. -->

    You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
